Joe Shephard
Originally from Berkshire in the United Kingdom, my career as a commercial pilot since 2006 has enabled me to travel throughout the world and live in the United States, Turkey, and Oman. Besides aviation and my family, one of my other passions in life is science fiction. I was an avid fan in my youth and still am today. After many lockdowns, the global COVID pandemic effectively grounded the travel sector. It gave me time to complete my debut novel—HEART OF THE TALISAAR—based on an idea I first had when I was twelve years old and was planning since then. I currently work as an Airline Captain in northern England and live with my wife and two children in east Cheshire.
